COMMUNITY TANKS

Keep your tanks in shape

Community tanks are one of the most common and simple elements in indoor installations, but also the most vulnerable, so it is essential to carry out minimum maintenance that covers the following aspects:

  • Visual inspection of the water. Every month.
  • Check that the cover is properly closed. Every month.
  • Cleaning and disinfection. Every year.
  • Check that the closure and isolation elements work properly: float valve and isolation valves or drain. Every year

The home owners are responsible for the maintenance of domestic tanks, according to Article 11, section 4, of Royal Decree 140/2003, of 7 February, regulating the health criteria for the quality of water for human consumption.

The design, construction and installation of indoor tanks should comply with the Basic Guide to installations.
