The transport network consists of a number of large infrastructures that move the water from the water entry points in the Canales del Taibilla Municipal Association to the La Contraparada drinking water treatment plant (DWTP) and from our tanks to the main consumption points. This infrastructure includes a total of more than 2.200 km of pipeline, 40 pumping stations and 25 tanks with a total drinking water storage capacity of 97.731 m³, placed strategically at the highest point of the city.

Pipe diameters vary, the largest being 900 mm for the pipeline supplying water to the city centre.
